Hi, Michael.
It was a pleasure running into your booth at the Peoria (IL)
hamfest this past weekend. I purchased one of your EF4010
antennas, as did my buddy, and with the beautiful day today
I thought I'd try it out. I purchased the antenna with
portable
operation in mind, so I set up my IC-7000 on a
table in the back yard and hoisted the antenna in a tree.
Within minutes I was on the
air and made the following
contacts, all sideband, with 75 watts:
DL5ANT in Germany on 15 meters
CE4CT in Chile on 10 meters
KD8DZ in
Ohio on 40 meters
I'm thrilled! The antenna works as well or better than I
hoped.
73,
-Bill, KA9WKA
